A Note from Bruce and Jeanne

When you think about November, "easygoing" is probably the last word that comes to mind. You've just started to wind down after the craziness of back to school and Halloween when-bam!-November shoves a huge to-do list in your face:

1. Get your holiday travel plans in order early so you don't end up paying a small fortune on your plane or traint tickets.

2. Track down that perfect winter jacket on Black Friday. (Sure, you'll feel like a penguin when you're waddling around town, but it's either that or becoming a popsicle!)

3. Tackle the looming Exams Monster (Students: how are you supposed to enjoy Thanksgiving when finals are right around the corner?!)

4. Plan out your Thanksgiving menu and try not to think about your critical in-laws being in town.

5. Finally, pull yourself out of that food coma post-Turkey Day. We know hibernation is tempting, but resist the urge: now it's time to get ready for the holidays.

Don't panic! We know it's daunting, but November is also a month for quality time with your family and friends while eating good meals. It's a time to get down and dirty cleaning your home and bask in the feeling of accomplishment. We have 9 tips to make cleaning easier this fall, as well as some nifty ways to rid your fridge of any stinky smells.

As for Thanksgiving food-we've got you covered on that front. Check out the infographic below for some Thanksgiving hacks: from giving your turkey the perfect color and texture to crafting irresistible side dishes to go along with it.

Make sure to keep up with all our podcasts by listening to them as soon as they're released. You can listen on iTunes, Stitcher or Spotify, as well as on our website!

Until next time-stay warm, and have a very happy Thanksgiving!

Best wishes,
Bruce
