Summertime is Here

Welcome summer! Spring is finally over and the days of endless sun are here. As the weather is warming up, what better way to start the season than by trying something new? So, let's get started and have some fun.

Quite the quandary

OK...just make me happy and admit you've done this at least once or twice: bought a plant without having a CLUE where you are going to plant it! You are in the garden center and it's a neat looking little plant. Oh, and to top it off, you've got Spring Fever.

Cocktail gardening

Have you ever been to a restaurant, ordered a meal, and thought to yourself once the plate came, "Gee, I could make this myself - and maybe a little better, too." And then a second later the amount of money you could have saved pops into your head, too.

Learn more about how to make your own cocktails, starting in the garden.

Stop and eat the weeds ... seriously!

Want to get even with those pesky weeds? Instead of throwing them away, add them to your next salad. Amy Grisak teaches us how it's done.

Need help weeding?

Tom Sawyer had the right idea. Recruit your favorite little helper for your least favorite gardening task. Marianne Binetti shows you how to have fun even while weeding. Running Time: 1:51

Don't plant without Osmocote Plant Food this summer!

Purchase Osmocote at Ace, Amazon, The Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, and Walmart, as well as many fine independent garden centers.
